Teri Corsones Receives ABA Award for Contributions to Judicial Administration

Vermont State Court Administrator Teri Corsones was honored at the American Bar Association’s 2026 Annual Conference in Chicago with the Robert B. Yegge Award for Outstanding Contribution to the Field of Judicial Administration. The award recognizes current or former ABA members whose work reflects outstanding achievement, a lifetime of contributions, or exceptional service in the field of judicial administration.

Teri was nominated for the award by Vermont attorney Alexander Cyr in recognition of her many contributions to Vermont’s legal and judicial communities throughout her career. She was appointed Vermont State Court Administrator in 2022, following 25 years in private practice, service as a Superior Court Clerk, and her tenure as Executive Director of the Vermont Bar Association. At the ABA Annual Conference, Teri highlighted the accomplishments of the Vermont Judiciary, including its work commemorating the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence.
